About Us

Torch Lake Sailing School (TLSS) has been established to promote and sponsor sailing and water safety instruction with enrollment open to the public.

Torch Lake Sailing School is a 501 (c)(3) organization, governed by a Board of Directors. The current board consists of:

  • President – Casey Christensen
  • Vice President – Sallie Foley
  • Secretary – Brent Daily
  • Treasurer – Will Forgrave
  • TLYCC Board liaison – David Sawin
  • Dan Lorimer
  • Art Brereton
  • Amy Keller

TLSS Staff include:

  • Director, Casey Keller
  • Lead Sailing Instructor, Ben Keller

TLSS classes will be held at Torch Lake Yacht and Country Club (TLYCC). TLYCC is providing access to students who are not members, but that access will be limited to the hours of the sailing school. Further information will be provided after enrollment.
